TRIJICON – SRO Question
I am considering a TRIJICON – SRO red dot sight for use on a few of my firearms with a Picatinny rail. I would like to move it around easily so a QD mount would be nice. I will try it first on a Ruger 10/22 and S&W 686. Any suggestions for a good QD mount. I am thinking a 1 MOA dot should be fine.

For a long gun, I would seriously recommend something far tougher than an SRO. SRO's aren't duty rated, even for a pistol. They're specifically made for pistol competitors. They're made of plastic and break easily if you drop them.
I would suggest something tougher like a standard Red Dot like the Aimpoint T-1, Trijicon MRO, or Sig Sauer Romeo5. If you have to go with tiny optics, consider the Trijicon RMR or the Holosun HS507C.

Thank you for your recommendations.
Let’s say I go with the TRIJICON - RMR TYPE 2 RM09 1.0 MOA LED REFLEX SIGHT. Which QD mount would you recommend? https://www.brownells.com/optics-mou...ampaign=Itwine Quote:

Well, it held up to the one handed manipulations pretty well. Game over at the drop zone though. |

ADM, bobro, Larue (my personal choice and have on all optics), make great mounts and will return to zero within 1moa. There are also many others but whatever you do, invest in quality when it comes to optics and mounts like other posters advised. Buy once cry once if you can but I also know that over the years you may not have accessibility to try out an optic/mount to determine what is “best”. You’re in the right place to educate yourself to make the best decision possible
Larue has Trijicon rmr/QD mount combos I believe that are competitively priced |

Thanks, I am looking at the Holsun HE508T-GR Elite now.

In the meantime I ordered a Holsun HE510CGR for use on one of my AR’s.

You're better off using a closed emitter RDS as the primary optic on an AR type rifle. MRDS types tend to be more beneficial as an auxiliary sight to your primary.

. Just don’t drop it! Just like the original P320s.
