That's really just stating the obvious, isn't it? These businesses are already well aware of the situation. I'm glad if they'd rather spend their time processing and packing orders than answering a bunch of people telling them something they already know.

For the larger companies, sure, the person in your Brownell chat is a dedicated customer service rep, they're not the same person packing orders, but for smaller companies, every email and every call they have to respond to is just taking more time away from shipping product.

For the above comment, I'm sure there is a lot of frustration. I'm certain you can package all the orders yourself, and much quicker. However, we are forgetting that tons of members/buyers here are constantly e-mailing, calling, and placing the business on blast. If I was in the same position, I wouldn't even know what to do or where to go. Should I disconnect my phone? Place an automated message? No clue.
I do not think he was complaining. I think he was defending.

But i also think he was overestimating what an employee would be capable of.

I have worked a non automated online wharehouse for an insane rush. When everything you need is right there we could do that. But my guess is they are not optimized for speed but space. And we had 40 to 50 people

Are you close to any Ammo Bros in your area? They claimed they will have them in store this week. Check the thread they started in the Vendor section. Maybe worth a drive to one and try your luck.

I agree with you 120% and I always support local small business. my whole point is that obviously their unreasonable long processing time is not just due to lacking of manpower, they are selling items that not in their inventory at all. Even if they indeed is a single man operating business, they should able to already processed way more orders than now, doesn't matter how many are still in the queue.

Yup. Priority from Texas to Cali is just 2 days. Coincidentally, the "Flat shipping" rate is around the same as a medium flat rate priority box, prolly cheaper with a business account.

Guess i gotta cross fingers and hope the stay is delayed a while longer, i would hate to be caught in that legal gray area where stay is granted but my shipment is still in transit.

Truthfully, we cancelled your order because of your lack of civility and your threats (as I outlined in the email I wrote to you). Asking for a tracking number or questioning when we are shipping is not a problem at all. What is a problem is when you threaten my customer service team and make demands instead of being civil. The other 99.99% of customers have been absolutely wonderful. Plain and simple just don't be an a**hole (where you told us to shove it).

To the other 99.99%:

We are currently about 60% through our CA orders at this time and hope to have the rest that are currently placed shipped by FedEx pickup tomorrow. We appreciate your patience.

Apparently RifleGear package showed up today but it seems they shipped with signature requirement but since I was not home because I am an adult and have to work for a living I was unable to get my mitts on my items today. And I won't be able to be home for any re-attempt so now I have to request they keep it at the post office and hope I can pin it down fast enough to pick it up before any potential stay goes in to effect.

Why require signature man?!

This thread seems to have become a safe space for those of you complaining about orders not shipping the next day. A lot of these vendors have supported CA for a long time and continue to do so. Just because a vendor has inventory, doesn't mean they have a huge shipping department to process all your orders. Seems like a lot of you expect some Amazon Prime shipping from these vendors getting thousands of orders in a span of a few days. Be happy that everyone is jumping on board to sell to us behind enemy lines!

Youíre right. Brownells is a large campany and has a dedicated staff for customer service and Iím not expecting that by my post. Iím just eager to see my order update and shipped. Just a little discouraging to not see any updates on orders being shipped from GunMag from any members here.

Was your order like $1000+ ?

I ****ing hate ****, I avoid vendors that require that, and if they don't disclose that in their shipping options and i get surprised by that, there goes the negative feedback / rating.

Nah just over $200. Yeah I saw nothing in my order confirmation that mentioned it'd be sig required. Granted I didn't deep dive on their shipping policy section of their web site and I'm too lazy to do it now. I'm mostly just frustrated.

Nah just over $200. Yeah I saw nothing in my order confirmation that mentioned it'd be sig required. Granted I didn't deep dive on their shipping policy section of their web site and I'm too lazy to do it now. I'm mostly just frustrated.
It's like a double edge sword for the shops. If they require it people arent always home on the flipside if they dont require a sig and leave it and it gets stolen people are pissed at them.

We have worked are tail's off but we are 100% shipped. Some have tracking other packages haven't been updated. As of right now FedEx and USPS has all of your freedom on the trucks. Tomorrow starts another day..

I have complained to USPS and was faced with a response of "we do not have a policy to scan every package"

It is entirely possible that some poor mailman showed up to these places of business to do a routine pickup and got dumped on with a thousand mags and said F-it when it came to scanning
and on the other end; if the vendor printed a label... it doesn't mean they've turned it over to the post office...

CA orders are getting our highest priority and we're shipping them first. We've been pulling other staff back to help ship and all orders are shipping the same business day. After hours orders ship first thing the next business day.

Thank you guys. Mine was out the door in less than an hour. And Geri was super helpful on the phone. Appreciate the support to us folks in CA. Hope to give you guys more business in the future.

I ****ing hate ****, I avoid vendors that require that, and if they don't disclose that in their shipping options and i get surprised by that, there goes the negative feedback / rating.
While checking a tracking number for USPS I noticed they had an option to waive signature required. You did need to set up an account (probably to try to verify you are you and not a hacker sending packages to a empty house).

Might also be too late since a delivery has been attempted. I don't know.

2ndammendmentguns is shipping. If you order over the weekend all those are going out tomorrow. Just confirmed via phone. Thier problem is some vendors wouldnít ship to CA, so they had to receive all orders then ship. Yay!!!

PSA just confirmed shipment on my 3/30 order. Pending 4/1 order

Just received shipment for Jesticearms

Midway ordered 4/2 shipped 4/3

Gunmagwarhouse ordered 4/2 still pending

And my wife is gonna leave me when she sees the charges.

Got my first delivery (Midway). Feel much better finally having some of this gear in my hands. If everything else goes to hell, at least I got a D-60 and a couple 22 rounders for my Glock.

Why is sportsman warehouse a no? I was there a couple hours ago looking around and the guy behind the counter said while they dont have any in stock, people are ordering them online for in store pick up. If the stay is granted and the law changes while its in transit, they'll have to send it back when it arrives.
