Forgot about that one, I'd even ask you nicely if i could empty a mag after you. I've got a wood shoulder stock for it that would complete the felonious facelift.

Even though I already played, I'd add Col. Cooper's "baby" on my fantasy list.

Lucas McCain's Winchester. I'd love to fast shoot that thing with the screw adaptor on the lever.

I's also like to try and swing it around too. Can't do that with a Henry.

I would like to shoot the Carcano reportedly used by Lee Harvey Oswald to shoot JFK. NOT because I condone murder of a president, but to see if it is as inaccurate as some have reported.

Although in all fairness I would be behind cover as the warren commission report said the bullet made a U TURN. sure wouldn't want to chance that thing coming back at me !

Thanx OP there are some really interesting entries on this.
As for Booth's gun, although it worked it seems like a really bad choice !

I saw a bent barrel Colt in a wester museum in old Temecula in the 80s when I was a kid. Supposedly it was for shooting behind you while riding a horse forwards at speed. No idea who owned it or if it was ever used.

Can't find a pic online.

I'd go for Jesse James' Schofield revolver. Nothing like shooting a piece of history. Plus IMO, the Schofield is the nicest looking revolver next to the Python.

Some pretty cool choices...if I had a second choice I would go for 6 Browning 50's in a Corsair.

I believe that gun is now in the Nixon library.

A docent at the Nixon library who identified me as shooter(NRA label pin) personally took me over to it and told the story of how Elvis explained to security he had a gun.

Its a beautiful gun and the Nixon library is a nice day trip.

I just saw a show where they talked about Patton's Registered Magnum, and had the order form when he ordered it. Pretty cool piece of history. So it's a N frame pre-model 27, 3.5 inch barrel, originally had walnut grips on it. You can find the order form on line with a google search.

He's not famous, nor infamous, but I'd love to be able to fire my great grandfather's service revolver. He was police chief of Gettysburg before the turn of the century and later was a town Marshall in southern California. Unfortunately, I have't the foggiest idea where his revolver is, if it even still exists.
