I recently broke down and cleaned my ruger mark ii as it had been around 1400 rounds since my last cleaning and it was starting to have issues feeding and ejecting. It’s not a gun I would recommend for someone looking for low maintenance, as the disassembly and reassembly process is a bit of a pita, but it ran great for 1400 hundred rounds so that’s a strong mark in its favor.

For the record it was pretty filthy inside, but ran really well right up till the last couple mags. Disassembly was quick, trying to remember the correct orientation of that one pin took about 15 minutes and then it went back together. Won’t let it go quite that long next time, only problem is it is so fun and easy to shoot 2 or 300 rounds fly by like nothing.
