Thanks for posting that but you made me feel very old. John has been pastor there for 51 years? Grace Community was a couple of blocks away from where I grew up in Panorama City. I went there while in High School. The first Sunday that I attended was the Sunday that his dad passed him the torch and John MacArthur preaced his first sermon.

Technically, all of the San Fernando Valley is part of City of Los Angeles, except for the cities of San Fernando and Burbank. SFV votes for the mayor of Los Angeles and has wanted to cede from Los Angeles. (I was registered to vote when Tom Bradley was running for mayor.) But it is such a large tax generator, Los Angeles has opposed it tooth and nail.
