Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44 BDC, How is it??

I bought one and just mounted on a .243 Win, but may transfer this to my .308 rifle. Anyone have any reviews on this scope or run one through its paces yet? Im gonna test mine out possibly this weekend.

Hey Brother. I got a Vortex cross fire but with higher magnification on my remy 308. For the money I really like it and can't complain. I can't really compare with any other brands as this is my 1st one. One thing I have to check my install. For some reason I had to zero the scope my last 2 outings. Onced zeroed I had no problem hitting metal at 500 & 600 yards out.

Hey, I asked the same question a week ago, never got an answer back.

I'd love to hear your feedback, though - I've been looking at putting one of those on a 7.62x54R, curious to see if it'll hold up.

Well finally got out to shoot it, seems to be a pretty solid scope. I have it mounted on a .243 Winchester, might put it on my .308 but dont know yet. Easy to zero, solid scope. Didnt use the free primary arms mount that came with it, that thing doesnt look solid, only one point on contact, instead used a pair of weaver rings.
