COE Expiration

I am plagued with an incompetent clerk at my local SO who is in charge of renewing my Local Firearms License and as such am running the risk of not having it in in time to update my info on the Cent. List.

My question is, if the local firearms lic. is not renewed by its expiration time is there any grace period before I'm dropped off the Centralized List???

I think you have 30 days.

30 days is correct. Just went through something similar with my business license expiring and DOJ said I have 30 days till I would be removed from the Centralized list.

GOOD to know. Our local SO clerical staff is trying to establish an internal policy for all FFL's that all licenses listed on the Centralized List documents have the "same" expiration date so they don't have to continually update their assorted FFL's files. Expended a lot of breath trying to explain that various entities who issue licenses have their own agenda and they CONNOT coincide issue dates just to please some irrational whim concocted by some uppity clerks..
At lease that's how I wish I could/would have said it. I was more diplomatic in my approach.
Thanks for the info. Still working on this.
