Arm brace ban coming in a few weeks?

There’s been some talk over at ARFCOM that’s there’s an arm brace ban coming in the next couple of weeks and that the ATF is going to reclassify them as SBRs. How would this affect us here in California with people who registered their BB AR Pistols with braces? Would this open up the opportunity to get an SBR tax stamp?

I don’t know if I’m allowed to post a link to the ARFCOM thread, but it’s on their main page.

If ATF reverses course, again, you will own a perfectly useless arm brace. I would put your probability of getting an SBR tax stamp in CA at 0.000000000000%. Given the number of crimes and mass shootings that have involved AR pistols, this is just another feel good measure.

Nah, no one cares, didn’t make enough media fury. No basis for any ban.

remember when CA banned SKS with a detachable mag... no different than a Mini 14-

Lawsuits are the expensive answer

California doesn't allow SBR's, it doesn't matter that the Feds allow SBR's in Free America because they allow that now.
