Cool, is your range open week days?

The pistol & rifle range is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shotgun trap is also open Wednesday morning. The full schedule is online here Calendar

Thank you I am looking for a club/Range like some of the others where they give you a key and you can shoot from whatever set hours it is hard for me to go on set days and driving from Hemet. But it looks like a very nice range maybe I will be able to make it soon.

Palm Springs Gun Club
 

That's the way Palm Springs Gun Club works, but they don't have a distance range for rifles right now. Matches there are still being cancelled due to CV-19.

It doesn't take much longer to get there from Hemet and the wait for membership was pretty short last time I checked. Here is their contact PSGC

February Brings Back the Shooters
 

Our February event was the biggest since Nov. 2019!

The day started cool, but warmed quickly to a beautiful desert morning. 37 shooters with 47 guns and done before 11. Great time had by all.

March - Spring in the Desert
 

Not as many shooters, but a good turnout. The ammo shortage is hurting, but folks are coming out of their CV-19 foxholes.

Good time had by all as the morning warmed quickly to t-shirt weather.

April Match - Spring has sprung
 

We had a great April match. Our 6 year old competitor was back. Beautiful day. Better numbers than last month, not as many as February.

May match was great, where were you??
 

The May match was great with perfect clear air, wonderful temperatures and no wind to speak of. Small group though, smallest since April 2017. Only 25 guns came out to play :confused:

Maybe the ammo shortage is getting tighter again?

Also, there was an Open House from 10 - 2 on May 22. Hope you stopped by to check things out! Perfect day and a capacity crowd at mid-day. Lots of prizes and demos. Good times :)

June Sizzled!
 

The EZ-Ups and water in chests of ice were out in full force as 26 guns came out to play for the June match. It was pretty warm, but everyone had a good time and we wrapped up a little after 10.

July was Fine
 

Warm, but not super hot for the July match. Missed our match director and the scores got fouled up a bit. Still, good time for all and most squads were done by 10 am.

August was a great event, though a bit light on shooters. 27 guns came out to play and we were done by 10:15. As a family oriented range, we're glad to see more of the younger crowd come out.

A very smooth match in September. Still light on shooters even with great weather and more hope of finding ammo.

Cool Christmas Finale
 

You've got to see at least the first 2 clips; a 10-year-old shows us how it's done! First, 6 knock down plates with 6 rounds in under 5 seconds. Then TEN rounds to take out TEN whirling targets.

Still a bit on the cool side in January (look at the bundled up folks), but a good day at the range for our hardy band.

April Match - Tax Day Gives Back
 

Our April match was a great day, with perfect conditions.

May delivers
 

35 guns came out to play on a beautiful May day in the desert. Our long time match director is retiring and handing over the reigns to a new crew. No video (yet) as we work through the transition.

June was cool
 

Pretty small turnout today, though the conditions were great with temps in the high 70's to low 80's.

Hot Times in July
 

We had 31 guns out to play on a hotish day in the desert. 90 when we started at 8:00 and 94 at 10:30 as we were breaking down.

.22 ammo is less expensive and makes for a good time. 5 mags helps quite a bit (5 strings of 5 targets per string for most stages) if you have more mags for one pistol over another, that might be a decider.

I 'm looking for a range at least 100+ yards to shoot my rifles.

Rifle Range Too
 

Bring them along. Range goes out to 300 yds. There is steel out there to hit.

August treated us nice
 

We had a smaller group on a much nicer day. Early morning cloud cover, cooler temperatures, even a breeze; very nice morning at the range. We were done by 10:00.
