Charles Daly O/U 410

I'm not much into shotguns, just bought a new Charles Daly branded O/U shotgun made in Turkey. It's a 410, bought it for getting rid of the occasional unwanted backyard critter up in OR home. Gun comes with extended chokes, looks of which I don't like. I'm trying to track down flush fit and can't find any. The interchange chart from the Chiappa and Charles Daly, Trulock websites are a bit confusing. Seem to be guiding towards Benelli, but not certain.

Anyone know for certain what fits?

Do they chamber 45 Colt like the wheelguns do?

Beats me - hadn't thought of it. Not intended to, probably not a good idea with screw in chokes. I have a Bond derringer that does both. 3" 410s hurt like hell.

Most Turkish made shotguns use the Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern choke tubes, so no surprise there.

As you have wisely done, it's best to call the importer directly for clarification.

Bond derringer in .410/,45 LC in Ca is a felony. Same as judge.

True. It's at my home in Oregon.

Since constructive possession applies in CA re SBS having just the barrel by itself is no different than possessing the complete gun.

I have about 30 turkeys a day walking through, but am told blasting game on one's property is considered poor form. I use a bb gun to pop a few in the fanny when they're on the deck instead, persuade them to sh*t elsewhere. :o

It shouldn't if chambered properly.

Taurus Judge & similar guns are chambered in .45 LC, which will fit a .410 shell, but a .410 chamber will not fit a .45LC. Besides, why would you want to shoot a .45 down a smoothbore?
