WTF is a blog?

Posted 02-02-2016 at 10:35 PM by KingChiron

I have never in my life made a blog.

But the following post means much to me, so I should save it, share it, or whatever a blog it is for.

Thread: AB 1663- Chiu, 2016 - Ban semi-auto rifles unless fixed magazines; drops 'features'
Here are 2015 CA voter registration stats summary.

17,775,077 were eligible in 2014
7,452,930 voted in 2014

statewide voter turnout for the November, 2014 registered election in California was 42%

in 2012 13,038,547 voted of roughly 17 million eligible

voter turnout in 2012 a pretty exciting year politically was 72%

in 2015 i think CA was pushing 39 million

so in 2012 we had roughly 33% of the state engaged and voting of which 7 million voted for one party that is anti gun.

that means 18% of the states population was the controlling vote

in 2014 7.45 million voted so a drop from 33% to 18% of total population being involved in voting 4.38 million voted for the anti gun party
so 11% of the states population was engaged and decided things that year.

They estimate there are 7.8 million gun owners in CA

Does anybody feel like there is a deficit in enthusiasm in CA gun owners a sense of defeatism, a feeling of being beaten to a pulp. i sure do and until something really inspirational happens all the letter campaigns, phones calls and emails feel like the same old stuff with no different results or very few victories. No you do something drastic like what paladins suggested or librarian with a ballot measure a real counter offensive you might just motivate that idle sleeping gun owner and non owner voting block because the numbers say we’re missing something

Show Gavin Newsom that we can hit back, show the legislature we are willing to play weave the web the opposite direction with a measure like the equal protection idea

Or The equal protection amendment of CA:

Equal application of the law amendment for state lawmakers, civilians and civil servants of ca. All laws or ballot measures passed in the state of ca that impact enumerated rights identified in the us constitution (bill of rights) or state constitution must be narrowly tailored when applied to the private law abiding citizens and enforced equally. Laws and policies that affect law abiding citizens are to be subject to strict scrutiny review and that civilians and civil servants can not receive exemptions, special privileges ect that are not equally applied and available to all other law abiding citizens. Lawmakers may not exempt themselves nor may they refuse to defend these enumerated rights in court. No portion of this amendment is intended to prevent the state from regulating criminal acts, felons or the mentally ill.

Librarian's 1 senator per each county amendment for CA

Section 6 For the purpose of choosing members of the Legislature, the State shall be divided into 58 Senatorial and 80 Assembly districts to be called Senatorial and Assembly Districts. Each Senatorial district shall choose one Senator and Each Senatorial District shall be the boundaries of each county, one district per county, encompassing the entirety of that county, as those boundaries exist as of January 1, 16, and one Senator shall be elected from among the residents of his or her county to represent that county. Each Assembly district shall choose one member of the Assembly

Paladin’s Citizen Firearms Responsibilities and Rights Act Constitutional Amendment
-which i think would benefit from some tweaks and poison pills aimed at the legislature like requiring courts to use strict scrutiny subtile added at the end

Recognizes that citizens have responsibilities and rights for firearm ownership in the state of California. Allows that the state may require that citizens undergo background checks for all firearm purchase transactions, allows for free background check for family and friends transfers from any state law enforcement department, mandates that the state administer a safe handling and firearms education program for students, and provide literature to any other citizen upon purchasing an firearm, allows the state to create and maintain or destroy a firearms registry of any arms the state seeks to have knowledge of. Recognizes that all law abiding citizens have a right to possess and use safely any firearm under the aforementioned conditions and protects lawful citizens from, state mandated mutilation, bans on possession, components, ammunition or confiscation of said firearms. Any state regulation or associated fee must pass strict scrutiny if the law abiding owners abide by the aforementioned.

Theres a lot in play this year the national election is drawing attention to our fight..... next step is one of these finding a champion, angle investor, signature gatherers and some grass roots momentum..... theres never been a battle like were about to see in CA question is can we garner enthusiasm to try and do a counter offensive or will it be much of the same ole tactics and defense. Just saying an offensive act with the right tactics might just catch a lot of peoples attention, motivate our base and catch our adversaries flat footed.
