And if you fired the same bullets through a 10/22 with a longer barrel what would the results be?

Had similar results with my 22/45 II that sports a 5" barrel from bulk box Federals and Remingtons. Unfortunately I did not have any Stingers on hand when I did my velocity test.

Why take the time to post and waste bandwidth if you're not interested?

I was testing Barnes all-copper SD bullets through my 9mm Commander and while the chrono was set up, thought I'd run some of my match ammo to compare real world velocity to published velocity.

Here are some of the Barnes results: (velocity test, not accuracy)

I didn't at first, but then it got funny.

just those few words makes it all make sense.

So you tested 3 different bullets flying at one velocity each. How is this a "velocity test"?

My apology for not having met your standards of an official test. :p

I shot multiple, 5 shot groups of three different rimfire manufactures, took a picture of the last target run and posted the avg velocities off the chronograph.

Accuracy wise, none of the "reasonably priced" rimfire ammo I've been able to buy has touched Wolf Match Target out of any of my guns.

Overall, it was a fun day at the range shooting stuff. :cool2:

It's easier to write on the target with a sharpie than on the photo with the mouse.

So is this thread about accuracy now?

I see what you did there. You can fool the others but not me.

You are so excited that you finally found some .22lr at a good price, that you bought it and instead of bragging about it, you are showing us that you shot it off.

Well played sir. You get the funny medal for this one... :\
