Anyone here using it on their Lock n Load in position 5? Also, do you prefer it over a roll crimp on your .44mag and .357mag rounds?

I use it on 45ACP and 40S&W on my LNL AP.

Yup, go one in Position 5 on my LNL set up for 9mm...great for taking out the Glock bulge

I use one for 9mm, and use a Redding taper crimp for .38 stuff, and a Redding roll crimp for full power (296) .357 loads.

Position 5 for .45 ACP, 9mm, and .38. Love it (I don't run a bullet feeder for that specific reason... I don't mind hand setting the pill...)

I also use it in the 5th positon of my LnL for both 45ACP and 40S&W. Does a great job taper crimping the rounds and I like being able to adjust my crimp separately from seating. In addition, I bought another to use as a stand-alone push-thru die (took the internals out) in a single stage press to remove the 40S&W Glock bulge prior to running the cases thru the LnL.

It is a very good roll crimp die. Not quite as good as a Redding Profile Crimp Die for roll crimping. It does have a problem with my as-cast lead bullets, so I would only use it for jacketed bullets.
It doesn't seem to be any better or worse than any other taper crimp die and, since I run lead bullets in almost all cartridges except 9mm currently, it doesn't get a lot of use.
Main use is in conjunction with the Bulge Buster.

Yup, use it in position 5 on both 9MM and .40 S&W, I would use it for .45 ACP, but haven't got around to buying one, yet.

No problems on my LnL on 9mm and .45ACP. In fact, I have all Lee dies on my press, no issues on anything.
