This takes "powder coating" to a whole new level:

Fun video to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Will that be available at the next Cal state fair?

That's funny right there.
Thanks for the post.
Thought this was gonna be a thread about deep fried cubes of butter.

That was interesting to say the least. I wonder if he used a thicker heavier oil.

No. FAIL! He did not recover the bullet. HOW can ANYONE just walk away without at least a half day of searching for the bullet? I DEMAND a do-over and better recovery practices.

I was hoping this thread was about ridiculous fair food. This summer ours had a twinkee that had a twix stuffed inside it. Then it was wrapped in bacon and deep fried. I didn't try it but I heard it was awesome.

Ya know, I have a deep fryer... It is BEGGIN to be used...
That is a good contained food. What if I were to wrap a cinnamon roll in bacon and then dip it in batter, fried and dusted with cinnamon sugar...
Coming this Christmas- Stilly hits 300 lbs...

That sounds good! At the fair, they would charge at least 6 bucks for that.

I would have used a wire in hopes of brass recovery.
Optimistic?

And if you recovered that brass would you load it up, go shoot a chicken or turkey with it and consider it gone full circle?
Don;t think about that too much, it makes more sense if you do not think too hard about it...
Now scuse me while I crunch some numbers on $6.00 deep fried thingies and ROI...

Nice.
Got a poster for what would be left of a chicken if hit with a 50 cal? Maybe a chart of remaining percentages based on distance?
I suspect it would look like an old Roadrunner cartoon with the word "poof" over it.

There use to be a member of the FCSA who had a 1/2" scar on his chest. He caught a round in Korea and lived to tell. Depend on the projectile and distance (read velocity), almost the entire chicken might be left. I've seen pictures of a doe taken at one mile with a 50BMG and it did less damage than some of the 30-06 kills I've seen.
