I am currently having my VZ58 kit built. It has an original folding stock. I am having a slovakian brake permanently attached to meet the 16" barrel length requirement. The stock rifle is listed as having a OAL of 25" with the stock folded and factory muzzle device. I think it will come in at just over 27" with the new brake. I am wondering if anybody has attached or knows of a different folding stock mechanism to get it to meet the 30" minimum OAL when it is folded.

You could just put on a fixed stock, or a really long brake.

I want to keep the folding stock, I was thinking of this one. It has a similar look to the original.

It would need some kind of extension block though, but I havent found one long enough.

ACE makes great stocks. But beware of the new cheek hight. I was messing with a 58 with a fixed ACE stock, it looked great but i couldn't get low enough to use the rear sight.

What if you just add on an extension plate To the pistol grip nut? I think they call it a "bottle opener" too cause that's what it looks like.
