I have a full size 1911 and a colt commander 1911. With the crossbreed supertuck all 1911's fit one size (no rail). The product website shows an image that appears as if the kydex has a lip to secure the entire slide. Will the 5" 1911 kydex size fit both a 5" AND a 4.25"?

While it sounds well made I'm not sure I'd want an IWB holster made with super thick materials. You'll probably be happier with something thinner even if it doesn't last two lifetimes.

Interesting but I'd go with the Milt Sparks over this. Although this is dirt cheap compared to the Milt Sparks...

Yea I'll need to give I a shot. Especially since it's a third the price of a crossbreed.

Just bought an MDJ. Ordered and received it in less than a week. Very nice holster. Look at their prices too.

I have had one of the Alien Gear ones for my SR40 Compact. I like it a lot. I also have a Com-Tac Minatar for a Colt Officers. I like it too.......but the price difference I would by the Alien Gear.
I've heard the Alien Gear ones are made by young Women in China. The Crossbreeds by old women in the USA. Take your pick.
