I've got more carbines than I need, so this is another one I'm putting up for sale to help generate some cash for upcoming expenses.

It is an Inland made M1 Carbine from the CMP, serial number #6282xxx which puts its date of manufacture around Sept/Oct of 1943.

The barrel is in excellent shape, bright and with a very tight muzzle. I have replaced all the springs in the rifle (except the ejector spring) with USGI new ones and taken off the piece of firewood it came with and replaced it with a like new stock. This rifle is in great shape as you can see in the pictures.

Here is the parts list:

Inland IO marked hand guard
Inland PI marked Type IV slide
Inland A.I. round bolt
I.R.Co Stamped rear sight
Inland Trigger housing
Inland IN marked hammer
Inland R.I. marked type II sear
Inland RI marked trigger
M marked mag catch
Rotary safety

Underwood 8-43 Barrel, tight muzzle, bright bore, 2/16 on bullet test
Birch replacement stock-almost like new
JMQ Type III barrel band

I'm looking to get $675 FTF in the SF Bay Area. This is a C&R firearm, so no need to do a PPT as long as you are over 18, a CA resident and can legally own one. That should save some trouble and some cost on paperwork. I'm located in Brentwood/Antioch. Thanks. *SPF*

Boy, if I didn't already have an M1, I'd be all over this. Unfortunately, the wife doesn't want one of her own, and she won't let me buy another one, especially after the 8 C&R rifles I bought last month.
