View Full Version : Bloomberg Radio Lies

We no longer have cable and I've been trying to find a decent news radio station to listen to on my iPad in the morning. I found a Bloomberg financial radio station out of NYC, which seemed ok since it shied away from the personal interest stories that clobber the local news stations.

However, this morning there was a quick reference to the Silk Road website and their description of it was "a website that sells illegal drugs and guns." I have never been to the website but am familiar enough with it - usually reading stories about bitcoin - and have never once heard "guns" as a primary good being sold. I found this article (http://www.policymic.com/articles/59777/welcome-to-the-silk-road-an-inside-look-at-the-darkest-corner-of-the-internet) in 10 seconds of Googling that lists the top 20 products sold, and as you might guess, guns are not among them.

Needless to say I won't be listening in to a news station that lies to further the agenda of its owner.

And if anyone knows of a good radio or streaming video online news source that I can listen to, I'd be much obliged.

I like Fox, but it's a personal choice.

PBS/NPR is ok in the mountains here since they have a ton of repeaters, but you need to take the liberal hipster stuff with much salt.

None are perfect.

Many folks enjoy, myself included the morning answer with Ben Shapiro, Alashia, and liberal funny man Brian Whitman.

This link will give you more detail and may provide access too.

I listen on 870 am in the Los Angeles area . You are very smart to reject anti self defense venues as a source of information or entertainment .
Sadly our tax money goes to anti rights NPR/ PBS ! This is disgraceful !

Disgusting liars !

Nice station, but i often switch off when Alex jones comes on; even if he is speaking the truth he is often to much for my brain.

KSTE is often good from 6-10 on the weekdays, it's more news-a-tainment than hardcore news, but still a nice way to pass the time.
