I just got my Saiga .223, and it fits quite well, but the LOP is just a tad (1-2 inches, at most) long for me. I picked up a spare OEM stock (should be here in the next couple days), and before I go cutting and junk, I just want to make sure that wouldn't put me in in grey areas.

The overall length isn't an issue (measures 37") and 922r doesn't come into play, since I'm just modifying an OEM part, right?

Thanks!

Right. Only thing to worry about is OAL, and that's covered.

I believe so, but I will ask anyway, My SAIGA is in, all I have to do is go pick it up, however, I am waiting for a STAG lower to come in assembled from CWS so I can get both on the same DROS and save $70.

Anyway, the question. Is a muzzle brake considered "unsporting" and therefore you have to add more US parts?
