Which SSE gun would you order?

I have LGS that does SSE. They are generally fair and would order SSE on MRSP pricing. I have ordered several SSE from them and have bought several on display. As we head towards the ban deadline, which SSE would you order? I'm leaning toward the SIg TACOPS with the TB.

I personally would love a bersa thunder. The fees involved in sse just make it not worth it. $400+ with the SSE for a gun that was regularly on sale at turners for $300.

wanted a ppq m1, but it seems like they aren't importing those anymore and got the m2 instead. standard button for the mag release isn't bad, but large paddle releases on the trigger guard are a little easier to manipulate IMO if the button isn't already stuck in your muscle memory. that and the PPQ is small enough that the push button is still very easy to manipulate.

My most recent SSE is a Colt Series 70s MKIV 5" 1911. Ideally I want another Series 70s in stainless steel, but that's not happening this year.

I am planning on another G19 in Gen4 and hopefully a HK45c.

Instead of buying tons of **** now, I'm just going about my normal business and plan on moving out of state in a couple years.

That being said, I want Gen 4 Glock 20. If you don't like 10mm, I would go with the H&K P30 or 45/45c. All are super expensive compared to glocks but I have heard nothing but good things about them.

STI is very expensive, when you start looking at the nicer 2011's.

I had an Edge and it was a great gun and very fun to shoot. However, the novelty of it kind of wore out fast for me, and I wasn't using it for competition like it was designed for (just using it to make nice holes in paper). So I decided to sell it and use that cash towards a higher end 1911 that I liked, and picked up an Ed Brown SF w/naked slide - this particular model had to be SSE'd.

There's just something about having a nice, higher end single stack 1911 over having a double stack 2011.



IMO, Glocks are a dime a dozen, even Gen 4's in the classifieds. I've had both Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glocks, quite a few of them. I'm just as happy with my Gen 3 as I am with a Gen 4, so I can live with Gen 3's for the rest of my life if I had to (if AB 169 goes into effect next weekend).

I would probably go with a off roster 1911. Something you don't see that much of in Cali. Off roster glocks you can find from private party sellers so I wouldn't do that.
