Ignore the finger resting on the side of the trigger, it's empty for the quick pic. :p

Interesting gun. Seen it used in the new Total Recall movie (among others).

Congrats and let us know how she shoots!

Very cool gun, have seen a few things on them but never seen one in person. I'm curious to know what the recoil on that is like with the barrel lower and more central to your hand/arm.

It's supposed to help reduce muzzle flip. Will shoot it in a couple weeks with some .357 and .38 and report back. Honestly, though, I did buy it for the cool factor :)

i rented one a few weeks ago in TX. Hate to say it but it was really bad in DA mode. Hopefully it was just a beater rental gun but we werent very impressed. They are cool looking tho. My sameple was also a 2" model...

She purdy! I have been wanting to wrap my hands around one for a while now... but semi-autos are our thing with the lady's and my former .mil reserve backgrounds.

I wanted that so bad but couldn't justify the 1100 for it.

I'm interested in the 40DS. I would like to shoot one so if you'd let me know when and what range you'll be at I'll bring the .357.

How in the hell did you get one here in Kali., legally?

My LGS converted it to SAO which apparently allows them to sell it exempt. Not questioning it... Anyway, once it's mine, it'll get converted back.

If you're in the SF area, call Solar Tactical. They are ordering them as they sell, so there won't be a huge stock at any one time. Apparently I stole this one from a guy who was supposed to drop by tomorrow, that or they would make great car salesmen too. :)

Either way, I couldn't pass it up.

Was finally able to get the Rhino out to the range. First impression is that I Love this gun. The double action is kind of a bear. I really need to practice more shooting DA to consistently get on paper and shrink groups.

But in single action, this thing is a tack driver. Recoil is really nothing. Shooting .357 mag rounds, all I really felt is the gun pushing into my palm, otherwise it was really easy to stay on target.

I put through 100rds today, here's a 6rd group in SA.

And here's a couple of the dirty Rhino.

Clean that beast well and wipe it down good with oil or silicone cloth and watch out for surface rust on the steel parts. Chiappa skimped finish of steel parts.
