I am busy collecting parts for an AK build. I am slightly stumped here, as I can't seem to get a straight answer from the parts listed on most builder websites. I am using a Polish AKM kit, with a stamped receiver. Which set of tapco AK parts do I need to go with it? The single hook or the double hook? Or does it not matter?

It only matters to the receiver. you either leave it the way it is, or dremal out a second notch for the double hook.

The ak builder flats are cut for a single hook but I only buy double hook triggers for mine.
I cut the bottom of the extra hook leaving about 1/32" of material on the bottom.
This impacts the inside of the receiver and creates an over travel stop, and hence a shorter reset when shooting off the disconnector giving me a better trigger pull than a single hook.

Simple answer:
Single hook = drop in part
Double hook = better trigger with modification outlined above but will require modification to work.

Like the commercial say's "Time to man up, listen to Nico".
The above advice was mentiond to me at Nico's playhouse.
With a Tapco G2 installed, I went from a trigger slap Bi-och to 3 touching at 50 yds. See 6 o'clock. The trigger reset is unreal.
