View Full Version : Marking on 80%

Have an non anodized 80% lower that I want to have anodized. It would be submitted as part of a group of lowers to the anodizer. I want to make sure I get the same one back, so I am thinking about marking it.

I think that using a stamping kit, on the handgrip portion (would be covered after install of the handgrip) would work.

Suggestions, advice, naysayers, trolls (hahaha not really, trolls please keep it to yourself.)...

Thanks for your help.

I had my last initial stamped on the bottom of the pistol grip area.

Still leaning toward the stamp set. I have an 80% that went wrong, and I think I'll try it in that first to see how well it works.

Thanks for the suggestions.

That's what I did. I went to Orchard and bought the Dremel engraver and put the serial number inside the magwell towards the top.

Already tried that, they said the odor comes off when it's anodized!

Shoot lasers at it! This was done after I had it bead blasted, but before anodizing.

Trying to avoid the extra cost, and also trying to keep it "homemade". As for the anodizing, I could do it at home, but for what it is gonna cost me me to have it done, setting up my own home kit would be cost prohibitive.

Thanks
