Is it illegal to purcahse this stock? That is will retailers sell it to you via internet/ My intention is to use it when I go out of state

I never had any problem getting a folding stock, but that was a few years ago. My bet is many of the bigger places now won't do it - CDT, Midway or Sportsmans' Guide - some will and pretty much any individual or small shop probably will.

Hit or miss on these not prohibited items. Bond Arms won't sell me a spare derringer barrel directly, but half dozen other mail order companies have. Hit or miss, check around & you'll find someone.

I do not believe it is illegal to purchase or have possession of it. If you do buy one just make sure you don't place your M1A in it. I would like to get one myself. If you do get one, let me know where you got it from.

They are sold online and you are looking at about $700. And like 5968 said "Don't put it on M1A":cool2: You can go to militarymorons.com if you have not already and you will see some fine looking samples..
