I will probably add something a bit easier to have as an EDC to my CCW but I wanted to use take my class with something that was accurate (in my hands) and reliable. So here I am with this monster that I need to conceal.

I'm looking at a couple Galco's, the V-HAWK IWB HOLSTER and the Double Time IWB/OWB http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=4431&GunID=157
http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=4348&GunID=157

and the Garrett Industries Silent Thunder Solo. http://garrettindustries.mybigcommerce.com/silent-thunder-solo/

I intend to do some practice drawing but am more concerned with all day comfort sitting, standing, driving, etc. I also want to make sure the holster covers the full length of the barrel so the rail isn't digging into my manfat. If anyone carries a full size 1911 I'd appreciate some feedback.

whitehatholsters.com I have one backing with two different Kydex's since their product offers the ability to change the Kydex. I have an XD40 SC, SA 1911-A1 and an XD45 Tactical. Very comfortable and it only takes a couple minutes to change the Kydex out. When I ordered mine, I paid a 10% surcharge (about $7) and had the holsters in 3 days.

I have a Silent Thunder STX Champion (OWB), and the holster is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend and endorse their products.
