Last optometrist I tried was way expensive and gave me a dirty look when I asked about a shooting related eye dominance issue. I am more than happy never to bother her again so I am looking for a new optometrist.

I met a real nice optometrist at the last Dove Canyon NRA banquet but I don't remember his name and his office is somewhere down in Mission Viejo. Anybody have a recommendation for an optometrist? Preferably an NRA member in the Costa Mesa / Irvine area.

I use Rancho Santa Margarita Optometry. The staff that worked with me were very cool about the shooting sports, and I even had them fill the Rx inserts for my ballistic goggles.

They do take VSP, and were very affordable.

Yea the one I went to was very fru-fru with modern architecture (in an optometrist office?) and braindead "hipster" employees.

I go to this place too and the have another location in Ladera Ranch. Dr. Smith over there is into the shooting sports.
