I am getting ready to order a DRO for my mill. I will be getting either a Sinp 3 axis or Sino 3axis. I talked to the seller and we can get better pricing on units if we combine orders. I don't know pricing yet, but they normally sell for $485 and $540 delivered.

Here is his ebay store. DRO Ebay store (http://stores.ebay.com/machine-tool-and-DRO?_trksid=p2047675.l2563)

Units both use glass scales. The sino readout can be used on lathes, mills and grinders. The Sinpo readout is mill/lathe specific.

Yes there are better units out there, but this is a budget price point and bang for the buck seems high. Review have been positive across the net.

I don't want to run a full group buy, but if any of you want to jump in (based on price) let me know. It's a good addition to add to mills, especially with more of us moving into the 1911 world. He also sells lathe kits if you want to add a DRO to your lathe.

If you want in, let me know and once we get a total number of units I will be able to get a price.

I'm ordering at the end of next week.

Well I just ordered the cheap DRO parts from grizzly for my mill, figured it would work well enough but if you can get a decent discount on one of these 3 axis setups, I'd be very interested. Let me know when you get a price!

I have a HF X2 clone and have been planning to get three of these (1 for each axis)

I would consider spending more to get a better unit if it's a great deal. Will be watching to see how the pricing works out.

Anyone else before I contact the seller and see what we can do on price?

With just 3 units, the Sinpo version is right about $400 give or take $10 and the Sino units are about $420 +-10. That is having them all shipped to me and then I would ship them out to you which is what creates a bit of the variance in price.

If that number goes up to 5, the Sinpo units drop to about $370 each and the Sino Units drop to about $400 each. The biggest breaks come on the first 3 units which is kind of interesting.

Here is the sinpo unit
