I can honestly say I have no desire to own a full auto weapon. Now shooting one is a whole different story :D

I'd buy one, but not at $10k each. I would buy one if it were only a little more expensive than an AR-15. And brand new... :)

Much wishful thinking right now, given the current climate... Oh well. I could easily do without...

With the parker case being heard and upheld... and an incorporation case further abolishing the dreaded list.... its possible in 10-15 years of having full autos in California....

Very doubtfull.... but possible.

You can’t hit me in the head hard enough for me to want to pay $10k for it. :90:

The reason it costs so much is because in 1985?? the federal government passed a law making manufacture of full auto weapons illegal. The ones that existed prior are legal to transfer but no new ones can legally be made.

I think if Parker gets heard and is upheld you will see what happened with the "pre-ban" firearms that fetched a premium before the 1994 ban lifted. People that paid the premium for a "pre-ban" ar-15 in 2002 saw their $800 receiver drop in value to that of normal AR receivers in 2004.

I think that if Parker is upheld eventually the firearm control act will be overturned and full auto weaponry will be available again in free states.

If I could legally have that here for $10K, I'd have one already :(

My uncle's M16 in NC is a constant source of envy for me :(

Somehow, I think I prefers "Select Fire" more than "FA"....
A "Select Fire", 10.5" w/ M203.... would be "my dream".... :D (oh... with a sound suppressor too!)

If you lived in Texas, would it not be easier to build an AR-15 from the ground up and just add the M16 trigger parts for a full auto?

Someone correct me if Im wrong....

I just want a pistol grip and detachable mag! Although I would give my left testical for a select fire G36c.

It seems even liberals are understanding that the 2A clearly states that it is the right of everyone in the USA to own military grade weapons (ie fully auto). Decades of rumination over firearms laws have brought most people to that understanding. The 2A was not written to protect ones home from a meth addict or rapist: it was to combat tyranny. At this point in our nations history we are far from tyranny, but a century from today, who knows? One of the anti gun crowd even called for the repeal of the 2A (I forget who it was). It seems that if AW laws were brought up to the supreme court that those laws would be deemed unconstitutional.
