I have an Apollo Mach IV .300 Apollo. This is a great looking rifle BUT the .300 is way more than I need. I hunt but do not need this monster of a rifle. I do not want to RE-BARREL this, is there anything I can do re-chamber this. I love the looks and feel so I want to keep it as it is as much as possible. Also, how easy would it be to put iron sights on this baby----
If you can help please e-mail me at donthreetens@gmail.com

Well... Hmmm

Since the 300 Apollo is close to a 300 win mag. (Lil shorter)
And is the same as a 7mm Practical.
And the bolt face is setup for a 300 win mag.

HHHmmmm. Keep it as is or sell it for 1500 bucks. As that is close to what it is worth to the right guy. You will kill the value if you mess with it.

As an alternative. You could simply down load the powder and take the sting out of the recoil. That is the cheapest route.
