View Full Version : Need help torqueing down an ar 15 barrel nut - sandiego

Hey there guys I am building my first ar and was hoping someone could give me a hand torqueing down the barrel nut. I would rather not buy the vice block and armorers wrench if I don't have to I would rather buy more mags and ammo ;)
The upper receiver I got is a Rainier Arms billet upper and I am not sure if it will fit in the clamshell vice block.
The barrel nut I got is also from Rainier Arms and is the regular type.
I live in sandiego in Clairemont and work in spring valley and I was hoping to do this in the next week or two.
Thanks in advance for any help!
