Did they? I thought the ODs originally expired in 2012.

Maybe... although because the gen4s cannot be put on the roster they were going to keep the gen3s.

If they do I'll be buying one of each model!

Ditto that!!! :)

If calgunners really like OD Glocks now, why didn't they buy them when they were being manufactured? Some waited till they were discontinued to look for them. I don't get it

OD Glocks rock! I own a G19 OD :)

I know (last time I looked) they had an expire date of 2011.
Haha, couple are good until 2013...

For me it is because I just got into guns this past year. If given the chance I would buy a couple in OD.

I wasn't into Glock when they were making the OD frame. I did however get a chance to buy two G17 RTF2's.

There are a lot of new folks on the board and people who were never into glocks. Plus we all want what we can't have so the fact that they are discontinued immediately makes them more desirable.

I do not want to pay the premium, I would be perfectly content with some duracoat if I want an other than black glock.

I was an OD fan before Glock decided to quit making them. I've been buying Glocks since 1987 :)

I own 20 Glocks (spread among 4 adult kids and one 14 year old daughter that claims my GEN2 Glock 17 as her own  )

I have 13 OD Glocks, most are NIB or under 50 rounds.

Still looking for a G27 and G34 OD.

Had a chance to buy a G22 OD brand new, eh could have, but went with the G17. I didnt care much for the color myself but now it seems everyone wants one. If only I could find a RTF model, Glock seems to hate me :/.

If the gen4 was available in od green i would grabbed it in a heart beat. If it was ss side and od green would be sweet as hell

Meh, would rather have RTF2's readily available without the fish gill slides.

I really love OD green on weapons, and I love my Glock 19, but wow did Glock's OD look like doo-doo (I apologize for the graphic nature of this statement).

Strangely, I'd still trade my black G19 for an OD G19 lol. Too bad the frame is serialized and not the slide :o

Tangent: Are there any pistols where the frame is not what's serialized? IE with Rifles, many times it's the lower receiver that has the serial number that is the actual "firearm" portion that you have to DROS for. But sometimes, it's the Upper receiver (Bushmaster ACR, for example).

That's not exactly fair. I've been collecting firearms since 2000, but only last year decided to explore Glocks (and recently, the world of 1911's).

I remember seeing OD Green Glocks once or twice in the display cases but never blinked because I wasn't in the market then or my tastes weren't as diverse as they are now.
