I couldn't find the specific model on their website, anyone know if this is decent for a couple hundred yards?

I just picked one up this past weekend. Not sure if it's any good but I'm going to try it and if it sucks I will return it.

Yes is basically going to be to see holes in paper. I'm still considering it.

I bought one. It works. I am happy....

However, I will refrain from looking through a very expensive scope as I assume it will be much better.

If you want to see holes in paper, it works great.

I took mine to the range last weekend and had several buddies try it out. They all agree that the view through the scope was cloudy and not very clear but it did the job. For $70 bucks I was expecting a crisper sight, not sure if I got "lucky" and got a bad one but Its going back to Big 5 on Saturday.

I have one. It's good enough for 100 yards. For longer range than 100 yards, I would get something else. My eyes are set on a Celestron 25-125x80mm Skymaster -- runs about $150.

The two bottom of the barrel lines of Barska, Colorado and BlackHawk series are similar in specs but the BlackHawks are much clearer. Big5/Overstock.com usually sells the Colorado series and the online places carry more of the BlackHawks. I own this and it very clear to max magnification, the only caveat is the short eye relief on all these budget scopes.

If you want something good (budget minded of course) get this:http://www.amazon.com/Blackhawk-20-60x60-Spotting-Carrying-Premium/dp/B001S8KG1Q/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1318435721&sr=8-5

I wouldn't drop $$$ on any kind of optics from Big 5. It'll only be $$$ on top of better optics I'll have to buy later on anyways.

A good econo scope is the Konus (http://www.opticsplanet.net/konus-konuspot-80-80mm-3-1-spotting-scope.html). For $200, you get amazing clarity. Yes, there's some chromatic aberration, noticeable mostly when looking at bright white paper under bright sunlight. Clarity for bullet holes is good to 200 yds., however, and more than enough to spot hits on steel at 600+ yds.

I use this Waterproof Angled Spotting Scope for competitive pistol shooting and it's great for that purpose. This scope is great out to 100 yards or so and is nice and small.

I have this exact scope and I think I paid about $50 at Big-5. The unit is very decent for the price. It magnifies targets clearly out to 100 yards or so in good light. It is also rubberized and the legs are powdercoated. Overall it is a pretty good piece.

I bought and returned it. I'm better off with SS HD 5-20x50mm.

I bought the Meade version(looked like it was rebadged Barska) from Costco awhile back...returned it. The stand would not hold steady and the glass was grainy under high mag.

I agree, buy a nicer rifle scope with more mag so you can see your holes without having to pack an extra scope to spot with.

I got one of these as a gift a few years back. Works fine for 100 yard paper targets. If you drop it, you can get another for cheap. Also use it to look at the moon with my boys. Good view of the craters and all.

Bought it, nice little spotter. On the bigger magnifications things get a bit fuzzy, not bad, just not as clear as the low mag. But the optics are nice, clear, and fine for spotting up to 200yds. I saw 5.56 at that range through it no problem.
