Interesting story.

Gist is that Rep Bosswell and his grandson fought off a home invasion robber in rural Iowa (who knew they did that there...).

I bet he's pretty much on our side now if he wasn't before.

I'll bet the congressman and granddaughter are glad the grandson had the good sense to react rather than freeze up. ;) Its good it ended without shots being fired.

"All anyone really needs is a shotgun... nobody needs an assault rifle with a Loughner-style high capacity assault clip that can be spray fired from the hip with the shoulder thing that goes up."

or maybe he'll say, "wow, we were lucky to have that shotgun, but boy I wish I had an M249 with a couple belts ready."

It's totally weird how they shifted subject to how many seats Iowa holds.

This calls for more gun laws.... I bet they spin this...

Just looked him up... He's a Blue Dog. Shows how fast we stereotype Dems without giving them a chance. This will help us. If he wasn't 100% for the 2ndA..he is now.

He already was. NRA rated him "A" in his last election run in 2010 and endorsed him against his opponent (also rated "A", and a (R)). http://nrapvf.org/grades-endorsements.aspx

Great restraint by taking only the action necessary to protect family and property. Makes us look good.

Remember, its defense, not revenge.
