I have been informed by a member of these forums that they are illegal California to bye own or sell. Can any of u confirm this because i just bought one from big 5 in northern CA. They say its a felony. I trying to wrap my head around this because i have bought 2 of them in CA at vary big gun dealers.

this is what they are talking about, http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/zastava.php . But if you modify or remove the stock flash hider so that that grenade couldn't fit on it, it would be legal. That is how Big5 sells them, modified so as to be legal.

Well that's what i thought so I'm all good i wanted to do the Project Appleseed but the range don't allow Yugo M59/66A1 because they say they are illegal. In any configuration. Hay i guess not everyone knows the law.
