for a pistol dros can you put 2 pistols on a single dros, also, i understand the 10 day wait after buying, and a 30 day wait for the next pistol after i pick up the first, but do i have to wait an extra 10 days after the 30

Every handgun has to have its own dros. Every dros includes the 10 day wait.

Before you can take possession of the second one, yes. The 30 days starts when the dros is submitted.

The one in 30 only applies to new purchases or hand guns that are transferred through a dealer such as new or used guns you buy on gunbroker etc..

The 30 day wait, as well as the ten day wait are actually 30 24 hour and ten 24 hour periods,

The 30-24 hour periods starts when you DROS the first hand gun, so if you start the DROS at Noon on gun #1 then 30 24 hour periods from then, you can start your second DROS, and yes each gun will have a 10 day wait.

Private party sells are exempt from this, so you can buy and DROS those as you like with no 30 day wait. so if you want to buy two used guns through a PPT you can, or if you buy a new gun and start your 30 day wait for a second new gun, you can still buy and DROS used hand guns during that time.
