West end gun club is off "sierra exit" same as lytle creek. Much much closer to the freeway- doesnt take long to get there- lytle creek takes FOREVER going down that road with low speed limits.

I prefer going there- however it is closed at this time due to the road being washed out. All that rain a few weeks ago did some serious damage.

Going to that range, you must drive accross the creek itself- after the rains, the creek gets pretty deep.

It's a "private" range, but open to public fri-sun. Become a member and you get a gate key with 24 hour access. With membership, plenty of pistol bays to use- can draw from holster, shoot on the move.... and have rifle range with target pits going out to ?550? yards.

Prado is off the 71 and euclid.

Rahaugees (spelling) is in the Norco area at the end of Hellman rd. just past where hellman and river road meet. There are berms for public shooting. $30 for 2 hours gives your group a berm to yourself and you don't have an RO watching you at all times. They also have sporting clays and a small 100 yard rifle range.
I shoot at this range, but I am part of a club called the Shooting Sports Alliance. Our steel match is called Steel Madness and 99% of the targets are steel with 6 different stages/courses set up. We shoot the first, third, and fifth Sundays of the month at 9am. Feb. 6th, tomorrow, is another match. Its open to public shooters of all levels. There are posts about it in the shoots meets and range stories section of calguns.

Litle creek its OK.
But i have heard of people telling me , that

Depending on where it is exactly past the range, it's only legal to shoot shotguns (shot only, no slugs) or shoot when lawfully hunting.

There's one in Redlands on Orange St. in the riverbed. Shoot pretty much anything...

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=redlands+ca&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Redlands,+San+Bernardino,+California&gl=us&ll=34.103883,-117.179688&spn=0.003782,0.006539&t=h&z=18
The one on the south side of the riverbed is shotgun only.
The one on the north side is currently closed and involved in a legal battle with a neighboring developer.
