...are you going to save up for a new CCW gun?!

What are you thinking about getting?

I'm thinking either Kahr PM9 or CW9!

S&W hammerless snubby .38. inside the pocket or waistband. light, effective and easy to use in an OH SH*T situation...

Any chance y'all would be interested in sponsoring CCW reform in your county?

I'm still unclear on what exactly is going on(there's like 4 threads this thing is spread out over).

Asking for volunteers, I'd be willing to volunteer if I knew what it was for(or at least an idea).

Asking for money. I'm not sure what for though, are they raising money per county to work on getting CCW issued in that county? Like if Alameda has 100 people donating $100, does that mean there's $10,000 to go towards Alameda residents getting CCW?

Are they going to fight for CCW issuance on a case by case basis for individuals? Or simply attack the existing policies(this is what it sounds like).

I already have few good-for-CCW guns.
Not a single holster for any of them.
So I need a holster or two.
Then again, since CCW may actually be a reality soon, maybe it is time to look around some more.
:D

Exciting, huh?
:)

Maybe just applying for a CCW is all that is needed.
Could be applying for CCW, if denied, then be willing to be a plaintiff in a follow-up lawsuit.
No cost to you given the donation base is my guess.
Be the first on your block to get a CCW is the way I read it, might take a little effort but it's all good.
Or simply attack the existing policies(this is what it sounds like).
This...new CCW policies that will include Joe Citizen.

If a CCW became shall issue, I already have three or four handguns that I could use. Don't need to buy a new one, but will have to get a holster or two. :D

I'm even employed (for a couple more months if I'm lucky) and I can't afford a CCW right now...I can't afford ANYTHING right now.

When/if CCW is free (as it should be), I'll carry my G17.

If I knew it was going to happen for sure, I'd go buy a G30sf, or similar. But I'd hate to buy a gun today and have it sit in the safe for a year or more.

No, since I'll use the same gun that I carry when I visit Free States (I have a Florida CCW). S&W M&P40 Compact.

Ahhh, I'm suddently feeling, as Chris Farley would say, like a "horse's putoot" for getting rid of my G26 for the very reason of believing I would never be able to obtain a CCW in Riverside County. Foruntately I've been too lazy to get rid of my SW442. :)

Rekrab, check out this thread. (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=353115) Every county is going to be a different drill. Some more complex then others, but all will help make a difference!!! Send the Foundation an email, and wait for the news!!!

Guys/gals, please keep in mind that this is a very expensive and extensive process. Monetary donations go a long way. Wildhawker said, ideally we NEED 10 donations per county for this to be successful!! Just redacating and copying of all the information soon to be available on the CGF site cost anywhere from 10 cents a page, to a dollar a page. Look at the arsenal they have their and do the math. Freedom is not free!! I completely understand that times are though right now, but if you have the funds available, please consider making your 100% tax deductible donation soon please!!!
