The Saiga has 14 imported parts which I've marked with a *
You need to change at least 4 of those parts with a US part, so your Saiga has 10 or less imported parts.

(a) No person shall assemble a semiautomatic rifle or any shotgun using more than 10 of the imported parts listed in paragraph (c) of this section if the assembled firearm is prohibited from importation under section 925(d)(3) as not being particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes.

Paragraph (C) defines the following parts as "countable" under the law:
(1) Frames, receivers, receiver castings, forgings or stampings *
(2) Barrels *
(3) Barrel extensions
(4) Mounting blocks (trunions) *
(5) Muzzle attachments
(6) Bolts *
(7) Bolt carriers *
(8) Operating rods
(9) Gas pistons *
(10) Trigger housings
(11) Triggers *
(12) Hammers *
(13) Sears
(14) Disconnectors *
(15) Buttstocks *
(16) Pistol grips
(17) Forearms, handguards *
(18) Magazine bodies *
(19) Followers *
(20) Floorplates *

awesome..thanks for the list. and im thinking of the tapco (tromix) trigger group (3)..us made grip (1)..possibly a dinzag bullet guide (does that count and if so, what would it be categorized as on that list?) and a us made gas piston (1)

Don't bother, the extra money isn't worth it. The mods have to be done to fit the BHO anyway

..us made grip (1)
Remember to get a mag lock also.

..possibly a dinzag bullet guide (does that count and if so, what would it be categorized as on that list?)
Doesn't count at all, just facilitates the use of hi cap mags.

and a us made gas piston (1)

Not needed, you will need a buttstock, get a US made stock and your compliant. Oh, I don't advise using mag parts for compliance parts. If you do then you can use those mags and those mags only. If you build the gun right, then any mags can be used.

awesome..thanks for the list. and im thinking of the

tapco (tromix) trigger group (3) - Correct, 3 US parts

us made grip (1).. You can't count this. A pistol grip is not one of the counted 14 imported parts on a Saiga, because a Saiga is not imported with a PG. You can't replace something, if it was never there.

possibly a dinzag bullet guide (does that count and if so, what would it be categorized as on that list?) A bullet guide is not on the list, so cannot be counted as a 922(r) part.

and a us made gas piston (1) OK. that gives you your 4th US part.

Again, 922(r) is about replacing imported parts with US parts to get the imported parts count down to 10 or less. It's not about adding random US parts to rifle, even parts the rifle was never imported with in the first place.

Get the one from dinzag, it's already modded for the bho.

..us made grip (1)

Doesn't add to foreign parts count but doesn't replace any foreign parts either so no difference to 922r. If you add a foreign pistol grip, you will have to replace an additional foreign part (5 total). Same situation with muzzle attachment. It's only about number of foreign parts.

..possibly a dinzag bullet guide (does that count and if so, what would it be categorized as on that list?) and a us made gas piston (1)

bullet guide itself doesn't matter, it only triggers 922r compliance since it allows use of high-cap military magazines and changes the rifle from a sporting config. US-made piston would count as the 4th.

Furniture might be easier to switch than the piston.
