Where are prices on AR (5.56) lowers at the moment? Heading down? Stablized?

I have a couple of Kaiser Defense lowers I would like to sell in the 'for sale' section of Calguns, but don't know what a 'fair' price would be.

TIA

I feel seriously ripped off for buying a LAR Grizzly lower at Triple A's for $150 + tax and dros.

in-store prices for a stripped lower receiver should be between $99-$150 for what I would consider "standard" brands.

$150-$200 for "premium" brands like Noveske. They're not better, just more expensive.

And then for billet, anywhere from $200-$500.

If you're paying more than $150 for a standard lower in-store, you're definitely paying too much. If you're paying more than $200 for a forged lower period, then you're just getting ripped off.

I wouldn't pay more than $80-$120 for a lower via PPT that wasn't a premium brand or billet.

I paid $200 (plus fees) for an LRB lower from Independent Armament Company then saw them for $89 on here.
Just picked up another lower from Fort Courage Armory for $125 last week, and I'm happy with them at that price.

Lowers are cheap. JD lowers were $109 at the shop when I checked last week. I can't see paying more than that for anything that isn't machined from a solid billet. Your KD lowers would probably sell for $89-100. There isn't really a premium for them unless they are Calguns lowers. Otherwise they are just your basic used lower receiver. Nice ones, but nothing that people will pay more for.

i remember when you couldnt find any lower for less than $170 in the hysteria days.... CWS had LAR grizzly lowers for $189! if you bought your stuff in those days of course you'll be a tad P.O.'d now, but at least you have them and dont have to worry anymore. shoot and enjoy-forget what it cost!

I just bought some Aero Precision lowers for $69 each from TDS in the Sacramento area. I think that they were $79 if you only bought one or two.

But, who buys only one or two? I use them like party favors

I purchased two JD lowers for $218.00 plus tax and DROS at Riflegear last month. If you buy one it is $118. and the second is $99.00. Don't know why two don't add up to $217.00?

It's $119 for one and $99 for the second one, total would be $218 plux tax & DROS.

I picked up two lowers during their 4th of July sale. $99 each and you had your pick from JD Machine, Mega Machine and Spike's Tactical. Ended up with a JD Machine and a Mega Machine, both are very nice.

Your math is wrong :)

JD Machine lowers at Riflegear are $119.

$119 + $99 = $218 :)
