I'm want to build my own standard A2 gas block front sight as a learning project on the CNC. Since I don't have one, I'm hoping to get all of the dimensions from some helpful fellow Calgunners. I realize that this part is quite cheap to purchase, but it's a learning exercise not a cost saving measure. :)

For reference, this is the part I'm hoping to machine myself:

Or, even better would be the JP Enterprises adjustable version:

Many thanks!!

Ummm, what dimensions exactly? All of them? Including angles of the ears and front edge? You're better off searching for a drawing online

You are learning CNC and don't own calipers? Come on now. Most AR front sights are forged or cast, not milled from scratch on a CNC.

I have calipers, I don't have a standard front sight.
