I picked up a 9mm spikes upper and magazine block today. I want to know recommendations on magazines. My Uzi mag fits in just fine but does not latch in place. Can I just cut a slot in to make it work or do I need another magazine. Reason I ask is I would like to keep both platforms with common mags.
TIA

CProducts mags fit fine, but sometimes they're a bit expensive. Uzi mags need slight modification to fit, but work fine as well.

Thanks. I would like to be able to use the UZI mags in the AR as well as the UZI.

You will have to modify your uzi mags, yes. The C products will work and they are great. 44mag.com has them for like 16.99 plus .99 to disassemble so you can rebuild your already owned mag that need new floorplates. Or you can spend like $30 for a ten rounder from numerous places.

Directly from Cproducts, 10rd for $16: http://www.cproductsllc.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=22_37&products_id=148

Dunno why all distributor or retailer cost at least $10 more than direct from manufacturer... I like supporting "local" retailers, but not at an additional cost of 60%+ more.

Good looking out! Ya, the markup on 10 round mags in CA is total crap. C Products is a great company and if you do buy from them you can send it back if there are any problems.

Well crap, I've been paying $24.00 each for mine. Guess I should've just gone straight to the manufacturer.

Thanks for the links. Does anyone one make one that fits both platforms with out having to modify it either way?

No. Your choices are either Uzi mag block, Colt pattern (which you have) and Oly that uses sten mags. You can certanly modify the Uzi to work but I'm not sure how that would effect your use in that uzi.
