CCR 979.11 (Kasler list) bans Kalashnikov USA "Saiga".

However, Kalashnikov USA is the importer, not manufacturer.
Saigas may well have been produced by multiple mfgrs, so this is unclear.

My ffl is bit reluctant to transfer saigas just because it is so damn close to the listed one, plus all those ar clone receivers and ak clones...it kind shuts the door. Try getting a VEPR instead. A bit more costly, but I heard they are worth it.

I believe the leaked list revisions said something about adding "EAA Arms SAIGA"

I have seen a RAA Saiga with the EAA ground off. too close for me.
