Can anyone tell me if this gun can handle +p rounds? Thank you

A qualified yes - test the rounds you wish to use for SD purposes, but I wouldn't fire +p loads as a weekly practice round.

+1 to a definite maybe. I would not make a habit out of shooting them all the time out of a Chief that isn't rated to .357.
