My sister-in-law's neighborhood cat just had some very pretty kittens. The dark one is already mostly spoken for, as is the one in the bottom right...kinda. The other two are siamese colored, with those awesome blue eyes. Right around 1 month old. These are free to a good home, I'd prefer them to go to someone who will give them the attention they deserve. No shots yet, not spayed/neutered, too young. Give it another month and they can start their distemper, and another month or so after that they can be snipped. SPCA has great prices on all this stuff too. I'm in Elk Grove, she's in...Sacramento somewhere, like near 65th and Fruitridge I think. :)

These aren't actual siamese, but they definitely have some in them...you know you want another, 3 is just a totally odd number :).

:( Just for that crack I think I'll find your wife's email and send the picture to her! :)

There were two little black ones, but the other one was more black and white, like a cow. Leela or Leeloo on the left, haven't decided yet, unnamed on the right.

Do I have to take them all or just one?? Just wanna be sure. I'm thinking about surprising my 4 year old son with one. My story will be that I 'found' the kitten while on patrol out in the Delta and couldn't leave it to die.

The black barn cat out my my girlfriends parents ranch had 5 kittens. two black, two white and a gray. the white ones look just like those in the photo.

We're now down to one black kitten left. A white one and a gray one disappeared (eaten by raccoons or rattlesnakes???) and I found one black one and one white one killed, laying dead with a gash on thier neck. It was a sad day when I had to put those dead kittens in the ground, and the momma cat was walking around the ranch alone crying out for her dead kittens. :(

So the snake joke wasn't funny.

You can absolutely take one. Granted, littermates usually do better when at least two are kept together, but one is fine, as long as they go to a good home.

Edit: Thank you for housecleaning. (ivan)

HAHAHA, uh huh, I get it, trying to guilt me into taking two!! I wish I could but one is what I could get away with.

And your welcome but it's what I signed up for...if that's what I think you're talking about.

I would *never* try to guilt anyone into taking two. Even though we did, and we already have 2 (3 really, but my orange fluffball has been missing for a while). Also decided on names finally, Leela for the siamese one, and Fry for the moocow colored one.

hahhaah the sun never shines when kittens die.

thats the wild though, kittens have a very low survival rate.

i would love to take a kitten, but im looking for a light grey tabby. i have a thing with swirl patterns on cats, those siamese look nice though.

Man they are cute but I just "adopted" one guy from the ranch. Little bugger survived a 1 hour ride inside my bumper on the freeway and about another hour sitting in my baking hot engine while I was at the range! Since his "adoption" he has put on like 5 lbs. You should have seen all the Evil Assault Weapon shooters at the range turn to jelly when they saw me pull a "widdy biddy kitty" from my engine. Funniest thing is that I started calling him "hobo" before this even happened.

Ok, I said I wanted one. Do you still have them? I was hoping for the kitten at the top right of the pic.

Thanks.

Good luck with placing them. It's good of you to make the effort.

Back in January, I was setting up for an IDPA match at Richmond when I heard this mewling from a bush halfway up the berm. I made some meowing sounds and this tiny kitten comes scurrying out of the bush to within 4' of me. Wouldn't come any closer, but it was obvious that they poor thing was desperate for food and love.

Was finally able to catch it and stick it into a box. Got the vet to do a checkup on it for feline leukemia and immunodeficiency, and placed it with cat-friendly neighbor. Little thing is still a little timid, but overall turned out to be a good cat for my neighbor.

Nice kittens. I just got done bottle feeding a kitten i found in a canal while walking my dogs. Poor little thing was about 3 weeks old and covered in fleas.
