New forum for those of us shooting rim jobs. The price of .22 really does bring the crowd.

Rim fire has always been popular. Now that it's the cheapest to shoot even more popular.

Love that rimfire. Pretty much all I shoot, except 12 gauge and the occasional 7.62x54R.

I :tt1: rimfire!
i shoot rimfires more than any other calibers combined :D

Me too  That is how I got both of my AR lowers to be buttery smooth. Several thousand rounds fired on each lower, now that was cheaper and easier then using my 5.56 upper and rounds :D
I seriously would conider selling my expensive out of this world LWRC M6A2 SRT GPU and getting a DI 5.56 upper and a Sig 522 rifle as well. Right now I have just over 10K rounds of .22LR stored in my room, aka the Armory :p

Went to the range last week. Shot my M1 Carbine about 50 rounds, then switched to the Ruger 10/22 the rest of the time.

I just picked up a 10/22 that is about 20 years old. It needs a little work to be reliable/accurate but it is a fun gun.

There has GOT to be a better way to phrase that.

I shoot my Ruger Mark III more than any of my other handguns, and I just purchased a Savage 93R17. I can't wait to throw a scope on it and go blow up some ground squirrels!

I can actually afford to go to the range again with my rimfire! I hate to say it but I don't want to shoot my 9mm as I am afraid I won't be able to replace the ammo!
And I am not getting up at 6am just to stalk my local WW....

Few reasons I am hooked on Rimfire.
1. cheap to shoot.
2. When I go shooting they only let you take a target out 200 yards. 200 yards with my 700pss gets boring pretty quickly.
3. All the same principles are involved with long range shooting. It is just more of a challenge.

.22 are great fun when you have an indoor rage to shoot at most of the time you can get creative on how you want to shoot, smiley face is a great way for a person to be able to consentrate on shot placement..
