I'm thinking of building a Remington 700 in 260 Remington, and I basically need a receiver and bolt that would work with a 308 cartridge base*. If anybody has a beat up/shot out Remington 700, that'll work for my purposes as long as the receiver and bolt are in good condition. I don't care about the stock, trigger or barrel.
*For my purposes, any of these chamberings should have the right bolt face: 22-250, 243 Winchester, 260 Remington, 270 Winchester, 284 Winchester, 7mm-08, 30-06, 308 and others.
