Meant to put this in the rifle forum.......
She is done! I am not going retro on the lower, not worth the energy and cost at this time. I always feel so empty when I am finished, I need another one now.

Looks good. I like the retro look myself. One day I may get around to building one.

Looks beautiful. I've got Jimi playing in my head right now, for some reason...

Getting everything from as few vendors as possible, that is they key! You get killed with shipping individual parts. I am doing an xm177e2 at the same time so I need a lot of parts.

There's someone out there on the web selling cherry M16 grips and A1 stock sets. Ditch the MagPul trigger well dealie too. :D

Gorgeous Rifle! I love retros! But seriously, lose the magpul guard--looks kinda silly on a retro.

regular trigger guards are like pistol grips in an lpk; you get them, don't use them and then can't find them when needed!

I am switching the trigger guard out, finding a triangle charging handle and going to consider painting the lower a dark grey.
