always a pleasure hearing (and seeing) the female half experiencing the sport of shooting.

Ah!... is that the Hello Kitty model? jk

It's becoming more prevalent to see "female" colors on firearms. I saw a raspberry/pink anodized AR lower at Irvington Arm's one time.

Looks stellar - but I'd have changed the thumb safety, too :)

I LOVE Colts.

I'm still swooning.

Hoag is an excellent smith.

Kinda catches your eye doesn't it?

+1 Hoag is an excellent smith.

Does she have a matching AR to go with it? That would be kickin' :44:

Meh...Still trying to get the wife into it. If that's what it takes, then why not?

I know my wife will have interest in guns if Coach, D&B, Channel will start making custom grips for guns.

What would you have changed the thumb safety to?

No rifles yet, for her. I think she's waiting until she figures out which would look best in pink.

(I kid)

The best thing about Hoag is talking to him when you visit. He's such a cool guy to talk to. And so nice.

Searches for pictures of MY rock island that my wife confiscated.... *sigh* she put on some beautiful pink/deep purple ironwood grips.

Its a Compact 1911... I just HAD to order another compact and 5" to make up for it.... :)

He actually does have a sister - I've met her.

Hoag is the best and that 1911 looks great. It was kinda beat up before Hoag got a hold of it.

Nothing better then a Colt.

If Chanel and YSL make guns my wife would already have an arsenal:eek:

Wow, it looks good. Pink grips don't look half as good on blued guns. It just works with the shiny stainless.

I bet it shoots great, too!

My girlfriend says she would want me to get her a gun if its Tigger themed... I'm tempted to dura coat a gun orange and black and put a tigger face on the buttstock. Actually... that would be quite a sight....

Drill the bevertail and add a tigger tail. :)

Are the wood panels painted or color molded in plastic?

I REALLY like the Ed Brown wide extended thumb safety. If you ride the thumb safety when shooting, nothing is better. It's unbelievably comfortable - just so, so right.

They are plastic. She looked at a set of dyamond wood, but they weren't pink enough.

We took the gold cup to the range tonight. It shot pretty sweet. My sister is totally stoked and I'm happy for her.
