Has anyone shooting at Berdoo Canyon or Fargo Canyon?

I have a few questions:

Has anyone gone to these places to shoot?

Is it easy to get to?

Do I need 4x4 or a car with clearance?

Does it get busy?

What's the possible distance to shoot up too?

No, a 4X4 is not necessary and sedan is ok for that place.

Generally, if it's easy enough to get to without a high clearance vehicle, it's going to be crowded.

I drove my Corolla carefully on both roadways and made it. I would expect it to be crowded on weekends and holidays. On week days you might see a couple of shooters out there. Unlike the high desert BLM locations, there isn't a lot of room for long range shooting if that's what you were intending to do. Both locations are mainly suitable for target shooting out to probably 50 to 75 yards at the most.

Haven't been to fargo but i have had my corolla out at berdoo. Get there early, it fills up fast. Im not sure about all the apots there but one area i was able to get out to 150 yards easily. Heading out there in the morning to brave the heat.

Yeah berdoo is ez pz. You can get pretty far in a sedan or hatchback.

Ever Been to Bee Canyon OP? Meet members Sat there for a clean up and you can check out the lay of the land, a standard sedan will make it there easily and about 1/4 the distance from you.

I thought the pathway up to Bee Canyon was pretty tore up and you needed at least a high clearance vehicle to make it up to the shooting area?

There is a secret entrance, only discussed at the clean up.

I always miss these clean ups.....always a week too late reading about them. They seem to be dead forever and then bam I missed it haha. I've heard about bee canyon just never been yet
