Got my SP-01 back from David at CGW. Everything came out exactly how I wanted. FLawless work. Got the pro package with bushing, barrel crowned and polished, extended safety and magazine release, EZ-D sights. Trigger work is awesome. Can't wait to take it to the range soon. I need some orange base plates from springer precision but not sure if those will work on these factory 10 rounders.

I love the extended safeties. so much easier to actuate. looks like they did a top notch job. I'm sure it'll shoot better than it looks.

Damn....and I just drank the CZ Kool-Aid a few weeks ago.

I hate you, unless you suddenly decide to sell it ;)

I thought out the box it was fine. But now I see what everyone else is talking about. It is well worth the money in my opinion.

What was the turnaround and can you tell me a little about the process?

Turnaround time for mine was just a little over 10 weeks. I would email CGW first to see if they are accepting any work at the moment. From there you fill out the order form on what service/s you want done. They will instruct you on how to ship the firearm to them. When you pistol is on the bench they will call you to discuss your order or to make any changes. You then get a call back after service is complete, even test trigger pull over the phone. Pistol is shipped back to you after completion. They are a small shop with tons of work to be done, so turnaround times may be long but in the end it is worth it.

they have a 3 or 4 wks rotation stuff going now.
You call or email, they will put your name on the list and you will be informed in 3 or 4 weeks when to send your CZ in.
If you are buying directly from them, since you are in california, your 10-12 weeks started from they day you purchase the firearm. They will ship the stock firearms to you in Kalifornia. After your 10days BS & whatever you need to do to make Kamala happy, you will send the firearm back to CGW to get Cajunized.

hope it helps

Looks awesome man, congrats! But be warned, you can never go back to a stock CZ after this...I'm on my 4th CGW gun and am already shopping for a P-01...

Congrats Bert. You will be very happy with your new toy. That is until you shoot a CZ Tac Sport. Then you will want a new toy. :D

I have three CZs (SP-01, BD, D PCR) with the Pro Package and my name is on the waiting list to send my P-01 to CGW.

What if the SP01 happens to be off roster?
Can you have it shipped back to CA?

Have Copperhead from CGW and love it - they do great work. You'll love yours...

One, it is on the Roster.
Two, the Roster does not prevent you from modifying what you already have.

Congrats, bertskii. I have to find time to take pics of David's work on mine too. iPhone pics just does not do it justice.
